a studio
not a school
Collective doesn’t only train actors. We also produce our own professional work. Our award-winning films have been winners at multiple international film festivals. We produce professional theatre in partnership with organisations like Theatre Royal Stratford East, Tara Theatre and Trybe House.

Are you a writer or producer? Do you have a play that you would like to see produced in an Off-West End Theatre? We would love to hear from you.

Don’t just take our word for it

The staff at Collective genuinely care for the well-being of all of their students, they want to see you win! They’re driven to give actors from underrepresented backgrounds a voice and that’s what we need more of in our industry. So if you’re an actor, a performer, a creative who wants to create their own work and give a voice to the voiceless, joining the Collective is the best thing you could do for yourself.
Seyan Sarvan – Channel 4’s It’s a Sin and HBO’s The Baby

I was working in the West End before I graduated and I genuinely felt more prepared and ready to utilise my skills having been trained by staff from Collective. I was able to pick up a script and know instantly what to do and how to navigate it. I felt strong and confident with my actor’s process and knew exactly how to tackle the industry as an actor and an artist.
Louis Sparks – Masters of the Air (produced by Spielberg/Hanks)

short courses
We run a range of short courses throughout the year for professional and emerging actors. These include:
- Advanced Acting
- Advanced Screen Acting
- Showreel Intensive
- Casting Director Workshops
- Acting Fundamentals
- Introduction to Screen
- Voice for Gaming
- American Accents

Getting a new showreel can be daunting for graduates. However, thanks to the Collective Screen Acting Intensives and Showreel Consultation sessions, I felt more than prepared to deliver my best performance on shooting day. This is despite having had little to no screen acting experience prior. The whole process was fantastic and I cannot thank the team enough.
