Our Short Courses provide opportunities for professional and emerging actors to come together – in order to maintain and enhance their skills – as we believe actors thrive when they are inspired and challenged by their fellow actors.

We aim for every class to provide a safe and supportive environment. You will be encouraged and challenged to develop your technique, maintain your playfulness and spontaneity – and benefit from the support of a community of like-minded creatives.

We hold regular workshops with leading casting directors to help members of the Collective develop their industry network and make new connections with potential employers.

Part-Time DRAMA school

As a working-class actor and full time carer, originally from a tiny fishing village in the middle of nowhere, I have always felt daunted by any formalised training or ‘drop-in’ actor sessions. This was until I started at Collective. They  have created such a welcoming working environment for actors of all backgrounds.
