Showreel Intensive (February)

Directed by BAFTA‑member Anthony Vander and award‑winning filmmaker Corry Raymond, this course blends high‑level screen acting coaching with production of a polished, market‑ready showreel

• Rehearsals: Tuesday–Thursday evenings, 7 pm–9 pm

• Shoot Day: Saturday, full day between 9 am–8 pm (scheduled time slots)

 

 What’s Included

• Material selection: Receive expert guidance in choosing scene(s) that highlight your range.

• Rehearsing on location: Work through your scenes in real-world settings, applying blocking and spatial awareness.

• Screen acting coaching: Daily in-class direction to sharpen performance, camera focus, and emotional clarity.

• Blocking & visuals: Learn cinematic staging and how to use marks, eye lines, and camera framing effectively.

• Industry conversation: Gain insight into casting processes and the commercial landscape—discussion sessions embedded throughout.

 

Week at a Glance

Tuesday–Thursday (7 pm–9 pm):

• Scene work and rehearsal on location

• Blocking rehearsals with camera setup simulations

• Performance refinement, emotional setup, and slating preparation

Saturday 

• Full day filming across designated time‑slots

• Multiple setups and takes for coverage

• On-set direction and slate continuity

• Immediate playback for feedback and scene adjustments

• Final performance capture for your professionally edited showreel

 

If you want to book as a pair with another actor – and shoot your showreel together – the price is £295 each. If you prefer to book as an individual, the price is £295 for one scene or £500 for two scenes. If you book as an individual you will be paired with another actor from the course.

As well as producing actors’ showreels, Corry has worked as a Video Producer for major companies such as TikTok, Channel 4 and Adidas.

Actors trained by Collective in the last three years have gone on to work in Hollywood films, on Broadway, for the National Theatre, in the West End and in series for Netflix, HBO, BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

Note: the shoot itself will take place between 9.00am and 9.00pm on Saturday 1st November. You will be scheduled for a specific time-slot during the day of your shoot.
