Casting Director and Industry Masterclasses (Autumn Term)

Join us for these amazing top-level industry masterclasses to help you develop your audition skills and keep you feeling fresh and on top of your game!

The following workshops are confirmed:

17th September – Paushali Banik. She has worked as a Casting Assistant & Associate alongside some of UK’s leading Casting Directors such as Dixie Chassay, Theo Park, Andy Brierley and Victor Jenkins amongst many others. Her credits include projects for Netflix, Paramount, Apple, BBC, ITV, Amazon Prime, C4, Hulu, HBO and more. She is now also working as a Casting Director on a Freelance basis.

24th September – Dylan Stafford. Dylan works alongside Gary Davy. Gary’s office work includes No Escape (Paramount+), The Tourist (BBC/HBO Max), Alex Rider (Amazon / Sony / Eleventh Hour), Small Axe (Steve McQueen/ BBC / Amazon), Britannia (S1) (Sky, Epix), Marcella (Netflix, ITV), Band of Brothers (UK Casting)(HBO/BBC).

FILM INCLUDES: Medusa Deluxe (Dir- Thomas Hardiman), Woman in Gold (Dir – Simon Curtis), Hunger (Dir – Steve McQueen), The Sweeney (Dir – Nick Love) etc.

1st October – Rachel Chambers Agent with JAG Jonathan Arun Group. Rachel trained at East 15 Acting School and after working for many years in the profession decided to do an internship at Macfarlane Chard Associates. She gained further experience at Gordon and French before finally joining the Jonathan Arun family in 2017.

8th October – Kristian Wall. Kristian works alongside Andy Pryor. Andy’s office work includes Trainspotting, Cracker and Our Friends in the North, Life on Mars, I’m Alan Partridge, The Long Firm, Cutting It, Whitechapel, Upstairs Downstairs (for which he received an Emmy nomination), three series of Call the Midwife, Cucumber, Banana and Doctor Foster. Andy’s office has also cast several feature films, including Bent, Beautiful Thing, Glorious 39 and Gemma Bovery.They have also been Casting Director on Doctor Who since its hugely successful return in 2005 and to date has cast over 120 episodes and four Doctors.

15th October – Holly Rodman. Holly is casting associate at Kharmel Cochran Casting. Works include Salt Burn, Bob Marley One life, Rye Lane, End of the F+++king World, the North Man, John Wick, The Lighthouse, The Witch.

22nd October – Caitlin Joseph. Caitlin is a UK based Casting Director with over 15 years of experience working across Television and Film. Starting out in commercials and seeking talent on open feature film calls, Caitlin then worked as Associate to Suzanne M. Smith for 7 years, before setting up Caitlin Joseph Casting in 2024. Caitlin has worked on many notable television productions including Netflix’s hugely successful series Warrior Nun and Shadow and Bone, Amazon’s Carnival Row and Good Omens and the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series Silo. Feature film credits include To Olivia (Sky), The Invitation (Screen Gems), and the upcoming The Haunting in Wicker Park (Screen Gems).

Actors from Collective have worked in Hollywood films, on Broadway, for the National Theatre, in the West End and in series for Netflix, HBO, BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

We are passionate about working with actors from underrepresented groups and we will always seek to break down barriers to access in professional actor-training. Scholarships are available for those who are facing challenging circumstances.
