Marketing & Communications Non-Executive Director, Board of Directors
We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications specialist to join our Board as a Non-Executive Director as we embark on an exciting growth period, working closely with local communities to increase access to training for underrepresented groups.
Term of appointment will be 3 years with the opportunity for extension or early termination as required. This is a voluntary position, with a nominal fee paid for Board meeting attendance.

Call for Script Readers – Collective Fringe 2025
About Collective Fringe
Collective Fringe is part of Collective Arts Community Trust, a charity dedicated to widening access to theatre and performance. Each year, Collective Fringe champions new writing and supports emerging voices by providing a platform for scripts and feedback from theatre professionals.
The Role
We are recruiting a team of freelance script readers to support the Collective Fringe 2025 selection process.
- Fee: £120 per day (freelance)
- Commitment: 1–2 days
- Briefing: 15 October, 1–2pm (with dramaturg Sabrina Richmond)
- Application deadline: 10 October
- Feedback deadline: 3 November
Responsibilities
- Read up to 12 script extracts (max 10 pages each) in one day
- Write concise feedback and give a simple recommendation
- Submit feedback by 3 November
- Attend the mandatory briefing on 15 October
- Keep all scripts and notes confidential
Who We’re Looking For
You do not need extensive experience — enthusiasm, clarity and fairness are just as important. We welcome:
- Early-career practitioners and theatre-adjacent readers
- People with an interest in new writing, theatre, dramaturgy, or creative development
- Applicants who are organised and reliable
- Those keen to support diverse and emerging voices
